Just wondering if anyone had done the tour and if it was any good?

Greg, I have done one of the historical tours of Kenmore and found it quite interesting, for it combines not just access to some of the more haunted buildings in the complex, but the tour guides are former employees of the site and provide a tour within the historical context.

My sister used to work there while she was doing her EN internship.  She hated working at night and found it a very eerie place to be.  She was happy when she didn't have to go back there.   I would love to go there for a tour.

I'd love to be able to do a tour of the Kenmore Hospital - I've worked in a few hosptials and have always found that lots of people always have stories and experiences.

I have been told since that Kenmore may not do tours anymore.  Apparently it was sold and the new owners didn't want to do tours anymore.  I would recommend that anyone planning on doing the tour give them a call first on the number in the link above just to double check

Actually the Kenmore museum are still conducting tours, nothing has change.

The new owners are o/sea asian investors brought through an sydney based capital investment company who just looking to tie up funds for a while, while the property market o/sea is down.

I actually went and did the tour a few weeks ago.  It was informative but a little diappointing.  We only got to go through 2 buildings (granted probably the two most interesting - mortuary and men's "noisy and violent" ward)  but they didn't really have much of a feel to them and were just empty rooms basically.  But the information was interesting
